Smoke billows from the roof of a Morton Street residence Saturday afternoon, but Shelbyville fire officials report the blaze was confined mostly to a bedroom and contents. A child playing with a lighter set a bed on fire and the child's mother, alerted by a smoke detector, evacuated the family without injury, investigators said. (Photo by Chuck Sims)

Sisters Michaela (left), 13, and Catie Carter, 10, of Wartrace recently attended Cardiac Kids Camp in Eva. Held by Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, the camp is designed for children born with congenital heart defects. At the five-day camp, kids learn about their heart, medicines they take, and how to live a healthy lifestyle -- all while participating in a typical fun camp environment. The camp is staffed by Le Bonheur physicians, nurses and other clinical staff to ensure the campers' safety while away from home. (Submitted photo)
