Travis Richardon of Shelbyville received the Charline Hamilton Powell Scholarship at the Tennessee 4-H Roundup held at the University of Tennessee. Travis received the $1,000 college scholarship based on his 4-H accomplishments, academic achievements and financial need. The scholarship is provided by funds established by friends and relatives in memory of Charline Hamilton Powell. Pictured with Travis is Amy Powell Williams, UT Extension specialist.

Allison Massey and Travis Richardson were recently recognized as the Level I (9th and 10th grade) and Level II (11th and 12th grade) state winners in the dairy project at the Tennessee 4-H Roundup held at the University of Tennessee. Seated are Massey, Level I winner of Wartrace, and Richardson, Level II winner of Shelbyville. Standing is Peter Krawczell, UT Extension specialist and Bob Brinkmann (silver bowl donor). Massey received a $500 scholarship, and Travis received a $1000 scholarship, silver bowl and a trip to the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta.
