The Bedford County Fire Department and the Shelbyville Fire Department each had a fire truck with their ladders extended and the American flag hanging between them Tuesday on the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. Tuesday evening, officials came together prior to taking the flag down. See more photos in Sunday's Life & Leisure section.
