Saturday, June 1, 2019
For the second year in a row, choir students from all over the county performed the Bedford County Mass Choir Concert at Shelbyville First Baptist Church in front of a packed crowd. Dr. Jennifer Vannatta-Hall directed the choir that was made up of choirs from Community Elementary, East Side, Liberty, Southside and Thomas. The mass choir, accompanied by Allison Blumenthal, performed 5 songs for the concert. The individual choirs had practiced these songs for weeks in preparation, but the afternoon of the concert was the first time the singers had practiced as a group.
