FCE members share love with CCC residents
with residents The Town & Country FCE Club visited Christian Care Center of Bedford County to help create Valentine's Day decorations Jan. 27 for some of the residents and the facility in general. Janelle Douglas brought a variety of cut paper hearts and words. Foam hearts in several sizes, other foam decorations and stickers were also available. Catherine Talley brought several types of ribbon to use as hangers. A snack of donuts and coffee or milk was served. Approximately 14 residents took part in the activity. FCE Club members who participated were: Catherine Talley, Janelle Douglas, Jean Stimpson, Jane Lile, Hazel Foster, Libby Covington, Janet Boyce (Janet is also a CCC staff member). Participating CCC staff members, in addition to Boyce, Director of Social Services, were Activities Director Donna Key and Activities Assistant Yolanda Flick.
