Eagles battle Lawrence Co. for 8-AAA crown

Second-seeded Shelbyville Central took on No. 1 seed Lawrence County in the District 8-AAA tournament final at Franklin County High School in Winchester on Tuesday, Feb. 22. The Wildcats held the lead the entire second half and took the championship 55-45. It was Central's ninth tourney final in 12 years under coach Kevin Thomas.
