Explosive device defused

A homemade explosive device was discovered at Fisherman's Park on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Law enforcement agencies converged on the park as a Tennessee Highway Patrol bomb expert exploded the device.
The explosive device was located next to the trash can near the picnic table in foreground.
