Shelbyville Rotary Club presented dictionaries last month to each third grade student in Bedford County public schools. Interact Club members assisted with the distribution. In each classroom, students competed to see who could find a specified word in the dictionary the fastest, with the winning student in each class awarded a dollar coin. See the story at http://www.t-g.com/story/2020812.html. The dictionary distribution is part of a national program, The Dictionary Project.
