The Bedford County Fair kicked off on Monday night with a chicken sale, cow show, opening ceremonies and youth night.

Geren Rides was setting up shop on Monday afternoon. They will have their midway carnival open at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. This trailer houses a diesel generator (one of two they use to power their rides) that burns through 13 gallons per hour.
