Festival of Trees

A perfect day greeted the 18th annual Festival of Trees and Holiday Bazaar Nov. 19 at The Fly Art Center.

The festival has become a Shelbyville tradition and Cole could not be happier about this year's edition of Festival of Trees with 26 trees decorated for the theme of "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas."

The decorated trees will remain the main hall of The Fly Art Center until Dec. 21.

Visitors still have a chance to cast their "penny ballots" for the Viewers Choice award through the final night of the play "Arsenic and Old Lace," which runs Dec. 2, 3, 9 and 10.

Regular hours for The Fly are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
