HMS students visit post-secondary schools

Harris Middle School students enjoyed a look at career and college offerings while visiting three post-secondary institutions last month. Sixth graders visited the Tennessee College of Applied Technology -- Shelbyville and toured the facilities with their teachers. Seventh graders traveled to Smyrna to visit the Motlow State Community College campus there and learn about various programs offered by the college along with information about the Tennessee Promise program for high school graduates. Eighth graders spent a day at Middle Tennessee State University touring the campus and the athletic facilities.
