HMS Rocket Launch

Students in eighth grade science at Harris Middle School created and launched water rockets this week. Water rockets are used in schools to help students understand the principles of aeronautics. Made with an empty two-liter plastic soda bottle, water is added and then pressurized with the introduction of air before launching.
