There was a large turnout Saturday night at Community Elementary School for a supper and auction to benefit Lyle Waterson, who received a heart transplant earlier this month. Visitors enjoyed barbecue, both pork and chicken, and bid on an enormous selection of both silent auction and live auction items. Waterson is an employee of Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corp.; his wife Niki is a teaching assistant at Community Elementary. Waterson is said to be recovering well from the transplant.
