Tennessee Poet Laureate Margaret Britton Vaughn (second from left) and Kyle Cantrell, a former long-time general manager of the Grand Ole Opry who now hosts a show on XM Satellite Radio, were crowned queen and king of the RC Cola / Moon Pie Festival.

Jacob Carrigan of Nashville won the RC Cola-Moon Pie 10 Mile Run with a time of 56:50. (T-G Photo by Jimmy Jones)

Shelbyville Mayor Geneva Smith and her husband, Circuit Court Clerk Thomas Smith, were among the entries in the festival parade.
