Mt. Olivet ice cream supper

Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church has held an ice cream supper fundraiser for decades, featuring homemade ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs and homemade baked goods.

This year's event, held Saturday, was interrupted slightly by drizzle, but that didn't keep the crowds away; the church raised $1,127.00 to go toward college scholarships and community outreach.
