For the second year in a row, Ransom United Methodist Church in Deason held a Passover Seder meal, with Rabbi Ken Gibbs of Yeshuat Yisrael, a Messianic Jewish congregation in Franklin, conducting the proceedings. See story at

Symbolic items used in the Seder include a lamb shank bone, top; a cup of salt water, center; and, clockwise from left, an egg, a paste of apples, nuts and honey, horseradish, romaine lettuce, and parsley.
