Sixth graders from Harris Middle School offer advice to next fall's fifth graders on entering middle school.
Treat teachers the way that you would want to be treated.
Always follow directions.
Do as you’re told and follow the three rules: be responsible, be respectful, be ready to learn.
Don't disrespect your teachers.
Turn in any late work; anything is better than a zero.
Always bring your stuff to class and don't be tardy.

Focus and do your best at what you do. Be responsible, be respectful, and be ready to learn.
I would want them to know it is hard in the 6th grade, but to do their best and stay out of trouble.
