Youth Art Show
May 2, 2012
The Bedford County art teachers hosted their annual Youth Art Month Show on Sunday with a record-breaking attendance of 1,660 visitors. At times it was shoulder to shoulder as the art lovers crowded in to view the art on display.
Jared Mallet, a 5th grader from Southside, shows off his clay fudge pie. Too bad it's not real.

Don't eat the clay food! Noah Estes and his parents take a closer look at one of the more popular exhibits - the clay food that Southside 4th and 5th graders sculpted. Many visitors mistakenly thought it was the refreshment table.
People crowded in to see artwork from students all over the county.
