A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Dwight Walter and Lillian Elizabeth Sloop Shook and the wife of the late Paul Pruitt. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. EST Tuesday at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Swannanoa, N.C., with the Rev. Steven Ragan and the Rev.
