Com Center eligible for grant money

Bedford County Communications Center is eligible for a grant from the state's Rural Dispatch Fund which could total $30,000 per year for four years, a total of $120,000. Bell Buckle merchants question construction

Bell Buckle merchants have "serious concerns" about construction that is taking place on property located next to the railroad line that cuts through the small town, claiming that no one has a valid permit for any construction on the land. A letter signed by six Bell Buckle merchants that was addressed to the town's planning commission claimed that the property in question belongs to Heidi Heinike, according to the town's tax records...
