Undercover drug officer snares 10 (Local News ~ 02/28/05)
Ten people, including seven Shelbyville residents, were indicted Thursday morning by the Bedford County grand jury and arraigned that afternoon in Circuit Court on various drug charges stemming from an undercover investigation. "They were all drug task force cases," District Attorney General Mike McCown said Friday. "In a drug operation like that, they will always use a confidential informant, but they will try to use a certified officer. The officer was not a local officer."...
