Worker almost struck by own stolen equipment

A sharp-eyed construction worker was nearly run off Nashville Dirt Road by a truck pulling a trailer carrying his own stolen compact loader Wednesday night. Two men were arrested after Jeff Carter of Shelbyville spotted the loader and followed the truck several miles outside Shelbyville in an attempt to stop it, police said. Carter told the driver to take the loader back to Greystone subdivision, from where it had been stolen, and notified police upon arrival...

A pair of redshirt freshmen, tailback Ja'Kouri Williams and linebacker Jerod Mayo, underwent knee surgeries this week at UT Medical Center.
