Bedford County Medical Center has closed on the sale of its new site, on U.S. 231 across from Shelbyville Municipal Airport. The sale closed about two weeks ago, according to hospital CEO William Macri. "We're real excited about it," said Macri. A Microsoft XBox, controller and five XBox games were taken from the home of William C. Rumfola, Bedford Manor Apartments, between 3-6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Bell Buckle sculptor Russ Faxon has rubbed out a swastika painted on the helmet of a soldier's figure in the statue on Veterans Memorial Plaza in front of the Bedford County Courthouse.
