EAGLEVILLE -- Cascade advanced to the District 9-A winners' bracket finals with an impressive 6-0 win over Boyd Christian despite losing freshman pitcher Leigha Carter to a leg injury in the second inning. Sophomore third baseman Tiffany Gibbs got the Lady Champions (17-6) on the board with a clutch two-run single in the first inning off Lady Bronco pitcher Cassie Wannamaker.
