Cascade seniors get farewell gift (High School Sports ~ 05/02/08)
Cascade honored seniors Erin McBee and Emily Hale as best they could on Thursday afternoon by taking down visiting Van Buren County 15-0 in the opening round of the District 9-A tournament. McBee made her first-ever start at catcher and promptly reached base three times, leading to three runs scored by courtesy runner Fatima Murillo. Hale played a solid right field and gave up her spot in the batting order for rehabbing Sara Edwards, who is recovering from Tommy John surgery... -

Debit cards, billfolds stolen

The 57th Annual National Day of Prayer was observed in Shelbyville on Thursday with a prayer luncheon at First Baptist Church on Depot Street. The theme for this year's prayer observance was "Prayer!
