Watkins saves the day for Jr. Legion (Community Sports ~ 07/08/08)
No lead is ever safe in baseball. Shelbyville's Junior American Legion team learned a valuable lesson on Monday afternoon and still came away from the ballpark victorious after taking down visiting Donelson American Legion Post 88 9-8. Post 23 held a 7-2 lead heading into the seventh inning. A series of defensive miscues on the infield contributed to the visitors taking an 8-7 upper hand.
