Virginia Geraldine Woods, 90, of Shelbyville, died Friday at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Central Church of Christ, where she was a member, with Craig Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gowen-Smith Chapel.

Charles Miles Philpott, 75, of Shelbyville, died Friday at Heritage Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Gowen-Smith Chapel with Jay Pope officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Mount Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Emily Wiggington Jones, 97, of Shelbyville, died Friday at Bedford County Nursing Home after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hillcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Carney officiating. Burial will be Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Middletown, Md. Visitation with the family will be held from noon to 2 p.m. today.
