Jimmie Nunn Hayes, 76, of Boaz, Ala., mother of Dr. Drew Hayes of Shelbyville, died Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Boaz with Dr. Hayes and the Rev. Don Reece officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery, Aroney, Ala., with the Rev. Kevin Brooks leading.

Tracy announces manager, officials for U.S. House campaign

Jim Tracy has announced that Mike McCrady, who managed Pat Marsh's successful campaign for the state house last year, will serve as the manager for Tracy's campaign for the Sixth District U.S. House seat.
