Mrs. Nell Atnip McAnally Nichols, 81, of Shelbyville died Sunday at her home after an extended illness. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Susan Rock officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Funeral Home.

James William "Jim" Kesner, 91, of Murfreesboro, formerly of Shelbyville, died Friday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Depot Street. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. at the church. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
