Fishing cart stolen from handicapped user

County budget keeps tax rate same, allows pay raises

Bedford County Board of Commissioners approved county budgets and tax rates Tuesday evening for the 2010-2011 fiscal year which starts Thursday. The county property tax rate will remain at its current level of $2.27 per $100 assessed value.
