Marion Strickler Adams Jr., 78, of Mobile, Ala., father of Monnie Caine of Shelbyville, pastor of Normandy Presbyterian Church, died Monday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Government Street Presbyterian Church in Mobile. A service will be held at the same time at Normandy Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Old Spring Hill Cemetery in Mobile.

James Ivan Potts, 90, of Shelbyville, died Monday at Heritage Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Doyle officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the church. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
