Glenn "Sonny" Cates, 75, of Midland died Sunday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Ronnie Grooms officiating. Burial will follow at Cawthron Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.

City trash fee gets a 'yes'
