The little-known magazine Cooks Source became an Internet pariah last week when it plagiarized a blogger. The plagiarism was bad enough, but then the magazine's editor defended herself with the claim that anything on the Internet is public domain and can be freely copied. The editor even had the gall to tell the writer she should be grateful for the improvements the magazine had made to her article!...

I mentioned this in my blog on the T-G web site, but I felt like it needed more expansion. There is a little church in between Tullahoma and Shelbyville on the old road, and it always has great sayings on its message board. One of the few bright spots about Monday is finding out what new words of wisdom will get me through the week...

Juanita Halliburton, 79, of Shelbyville died Wednesday at Northside Healthcare Center in Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Dean Gipson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Murfreesboro. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
