Suspect hides in central air system return unit

A man who ran away during a traffic stop Wednesday ran into his nearby home and attempted to hide in the return unit of the central air system, police said. Edward Worthy Jr., 34, South Cannon Boulevard, faces multiple charges. "Officers noticed that the return unit in the hallway for the air conditioning was unlatched," officer Chris Vest's report said.
