Shelbyville police stopped a speeding motorcyclist early Sunday on North Main Street with the help of another driver who likely has no idea how they helped. Officer Chris Vest said he followed the motorcycle ridden by Bo Justin Lamb, 22, of Comstock Road, at speeds of 80 to 90 mph within the more densely traveled areas of North Main Street, before pursuit with lights and siren began, and over 120 mph in the five-lane area near the city limits...

Shelli Pigg Hambrick, 35, of Shelbyville died Monday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
