Benjamin Franklin "Ben" Cartwright, 86, of Shelbyville died Thursday at his home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hillcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Cartwright and Dr. Kevin Minchey officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Louise Roberts Dement, 87, of Spring Hill died Tuesday. She was buried at Hollywood Cemetery in Wartrace following a private service. Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
