Katie Moulder, Jennifer Molder, and Emily Lewis were honored as members of the 2011 All-District team, while Tiffany McCord and Haley Edmondson landed spots on the All-Tournament team. Spooktacular runners prepare to hit the streets

The 2011 Spooktacular 5k and 10k are set to draw crowds of ghoulies, goblins and other halloween terrors on Saturday morning. Prescription drugs stolen from home

Prescription medication was stolen from a Walnut Grove Road home at midday Oct. 14, according to a Bedford County Sheriff's Department report released Thursday. The home had been locked when residents left at 12:15 p.m. One returned at 12:45 to find the front door standing open. A flat tool was used to pry the door's latch, the report said...

Evelyn Lane Mitchell, 91, of Murfreesboro died Friday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home in Murfreesboro with the Rev. George Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday.
