Drug Take Back Day scheduled Saturday

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has scheduled another National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 29. The local event will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the CPI building, 539 Tate St. The event gives citizens a chance to safely dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs, thereby preventing abuse of the drugs and saving them from entering the water supply.
