Marlin Hodges Jr., 82, of Shelbyville died Sunday at Heritage Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Lynch Cemetery. Visitation will be held dfrom 4-8 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Mary Jane Smithson Cobble, 74, of Shelbyville died Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby McGee officiating. Burial will follow at the Joyce Cemetery in Marsshall County. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday.

Ernest M. Helton, 78, of Shelbyville died Sunday at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Gowen-Smith Chapel with Jim Tedder officiating. Mr. Helton will be cremated per his request. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m.

Pre-trial hearings on adoption case will be open
