A man who pleaded guilty eight years ago to auto burglary in Bedford County has lost an appeal claiming his double jeopardy protections were violated. In 2004, Toney Jason Hale, pleaded guilty before Circuit Court Judge Lee Russell to three counts of automobile burglary, receiving an effective sentence of three years. The sentence was to be served consecutively to a previously imposed jail term in Marshall County...
