Bond possible for fire truck

Even with enough money in the city's budget to buy a new replacement pumper for the fire department, the council will vote next week whether to submit an application for a Tennessee Municipal League (TML) bond. Workers comp costs impact city's budget

A budget amendment for the city will be necessary next week to cover rising worker compensation costs, even though a reconsideration from the Tennessee Municipal League (TML) resulted in a reduction of five percent for coverage.
