A Shelbyville woman was seriously injured late Friday night when she was thrown from her car on Highway 130 West in Richmond. Horse trial canceled; judge to hear both sides of issue

A trial over the constitutionality of a U.S. Department of Agriculture rule change affecting the Tennessee walking horse industry was canceled before it could take place Monday, with both sides to present their evidence over the issue instead. Betty Foster Faulk, age 65, of Lynchburg, a Shelbyville native, died Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma. Per her request, her remains were cremated. There will be no services. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel assisted with arrangements.
