Jesse Vernon Cook, 89, of Shelbyville died Thursday evening, Aug. 2, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Shelbyville Mills Baptist Church with Scott Russell and Jonathan Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home.
