This is one of many ant hills in our yard. There are at least 10 of them. I guess you could say this is our protection. They are almost like land mines.

Michael "Mike" Swaim, 49, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Randall Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

Katherine Armstrong Taylor McCord, 83, of Lewisburg died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. Funeral services will be held at noon Monday at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church in Chapel Hill. Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Anderson Funeral Home in Lewisburg and beginning at noon Monday at the church.

Carolyn Faye Thorneberry, 67, of Shelbyville died Saturday morning at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Ray Wiser officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
