A cell phone and prescription drugs were stolen from a Landers Street apartment about 9 p.m. Tuesday. The victim told police she left the apartment unlocked while she walked her dog for approximately five minutes. Mae Haskins Harrell, 84, of Unionville died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at Glen Oaks Convalescent Center after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
