Ethel Arthur Major, 91, of Shelbyville died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at Heritage Medical Center. Funeral services will be held in Coachella, Calif. Burial will follow at Coachella Valley Cemetery. Hillcrest Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Nancy Jean Boyce Stevenson, 84, of Unionville died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery in Rover. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Lois Manus, 77, of Shelbyville died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Heritage Medical Center. Per her request she was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10 at the Church of God of Prophecy. Gowen-Smith Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
