James Donald 'Don' Smith, 78, of Shelbyville died late Sunday night, Dec. 23, 2012 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Bierovic officiating. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life will begin at 4 p.m.
