To The Editor: On January 30 I went around town running errands. Somewhere in my travels, I lost my wallet with all my cards and driver's license in it. I was at the tax office and frantically went through my car, closed the door and locked my keys in it. My neighbor brought me home to retrieve another set. I backtracked everywhere I had been to no avail. I went home and cancelled all my cards...

Local students were treated Wednesday to a free visit to view a piece of history -- the Emancipation Proclamation -- in Nashville, fittingly held during Black History Month.
