Bell Buckle's Board of Mayor and Alderman deferred action on the purchase of a truck for the volunteer fire department so that the loan terms could be more closely examined. Fire Chief Ronnie Lokey asked permission for a $55,000 loan to pay off a previous loan to Regions Bank, but also to help pay for a one-ton truck that can be used both as a grass truck and a first responder vehicle for $42,500.
