That's a lot of fur and a lot of meowing, more than I ever bargained for in life. Our cats live inside because that way is safer and healthier for them. Teddy bears and pennies can fight child abuse. That's Tracy Blessing's message. Blessing is holding her fifth annual Pennies for Prevention to observe Child Abuse Awareness month, which is in April. Blessing owns Toddler Time day care, and she is asking her children's parents -- or members of the public -- to bring in pennies, nickels, quarters or even better, green cash. Traffic was stalled in Wartrace Friday as this CSX locomotive crawled through the crossing at Highway 64. Last month, Wartrace's town council noted that a train had blocked the highway for two and a half hours, and that citizens are becoming "very frustrated" with the ongoing situation, with one resident asking the town to write to the state attorney general to see what can be done.
